Doulas support the waist up while midwives support the waist down. Doulas are not medical care providers or physicians so we don’t perform medical procedures or examinations.

A doula is a support person there to educate and guide the mother through the pregnancy journey. We provide unbias information about all your options available to create the best birth experience possible. We provide physical support (positional changes), mental support (coaching and encouragement), and help you develop your birth plan. We support you through out labor as well as postpartum support like (lactation, etc).

We do not attend births that don't have a primary care physician present. As doulas we are not permitted to deliver your baby or do medical examination
